Are you a 501(c)(3) organization?
Being in the early stages of the Hope Floats Initiative, we are working to receive our nonprofit status. We have sent the paperwork in to the Texas Secretary of State and have received our EIN from the IRS. When we are approved through the state we will be able to apply for our 501(c)(3), which should be retroactive to July 14, 2025.
How do you choose what camps you will partner with?
How do you choose what camps you will partner with?
There is no specific rule for choosing a camp to partner with. The Vista Camps were chosen because I reached out to them to find out their needs for life vests and asked if they would like to participate as our first camp. The very lofty goal is to provide life vests for as many camps as possible all over the US.

At this time we do not take monetary donations, however we do take donations of life vests either given to us personally or ordered through our Amazon Wishlist. Once we receive our 501(c)(3) status, we may decide to take financial donations.
How can I help?
How can I help?
There are several ways you can help us fulfill our mission. You can donate a life vest; You can share our mission and our wishlist on your socials; You can volunteer as a state representative to continue our mission in your state. If you have another suggestion for participating, please reach out. We are open to all ideas.
