Q. Can I sign up with a friend to shop for a child?

A.  Yes!  Please feel free to sign up with a friend or family member to shop for the same child to help offset the cost.

Q. What if I can’t come to the party?

A. No biggie.  Just drop off the items you signed up for (unwrapped) by December 13th.  You can even have Amazon deliver them directly to me!  We’ll make sure they get to the right place.  See Delivering Donations 

Q. How much should I spend if I sign up for a child?

A. Our goal is for each child we sponsor to receive at least an outfit, a coat/jacket, shoes, an item off their wish list.  Some people add PJs, socks, etc and several items off of the wish list.  The total cost varies between $50-$200.  Anything is appreciated!!

Q. Why not wrap the gifts?

A. We used to wrap hundreds of gifts and as we did, we often wondered if the recipient's parents would want to know what was inside for their own planning purposes.  We piloted a group at Billingsville-Cotswold in 2018 and provided wrapping supplies (wrapping paper, scissors, tape, ribbon, gift tags, etc).  It was so well-received that we now provide wrapping supplies for each family.

Q. Should I provide receipts?

A. If possible, that would be great.  It's not mandatory, though.
