On February 14, 2024 the students at Shrevewood Elementary participated in their second Power of Words presentation which further enhanced their understanding of both the power of their words and internet vs. impact. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.” Think of the power we wield and the impact we can make if we become more intentional about encouraging our sponsored children.
On the 5th and 6th of February, 2024 the students at Shrevewood Elementary visited The National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. Here they learned about the various types of modern art and the artists who created the interesting pieces! Included, are just a few of the magnificents pieces of art!
Although sixth grade marks the end of elementary school for our rising seventh graders, a new chapter is opening for them at the same time! Following the informational night which was held at Kilmer Middle School, the Kilmer counselors visited Shrevewood Elementary School to assist the rising seventh graders with their course selections for the upcoming school year!
