Being a Patrol has benefits and downsides, for example, a benefit is getting to know kindergarteners and playing with them. An example of a downside is when people aren’t listening to me, so I get annoyed . But the benefit of that is if they still don't listen to me, I can report them. Being a patrol means that you have to follow the rules, and if you don’t follow the rules, you can be fired. There are different types of patrols, there are Hall Patrols, Bus Patrols, and Kinder Patrols. It is very common to see Patrols inside the school and outside, sometimes Kindergarteners can make me feel perplexed because I don’t really understand what they are saying.
Kindergarteners are never calm because they have so much energy so it can be tiring to play with them. You need great responsibility and patience with handling kindergarteners. I am a kinder Patrol and a Bus Patrol. My job is to get on duty on time and wait for the bus to come. When the bus comes, I put my stuff on the bus and get all the kindergarteners and lead them to their bus. After that, my patrol mates and I wait for our bus to be called and help all the people rushing in to find seats. After everyone gets on the bus, I count all the students in the bus and tell the number to the bus driver. When you are a Bus Patrol and a Kinder Patrol, you usually sit in the front of the bus, the rest of the patrols are assigned to sit in the middle of the bus or in the back of the bus.
