What did the 6888 do?

The 6888 or Six Triple Eight essentially built their own base in Birmingham, England, then routed and sorted 7 million pieces of mail at the blistering speed of 200% from projections.  Others had failed.  The 6888 got it done while breaking records.  How do you follow that?  You go on to France!
