SLOW DOWN-MOVE OVER DISPLAY PARTICIPATES IN COMMUNITY PARADES

As part of the Honoring Heroes Foundation "Slow Down-Move Over" education initiative Board Members displayed the foundation's patrol vehicle in Orem's Oremfest 2023 and Springville's Art City Parade both held on Saturday June 10, 2023.

The vehicle is an actual patrol car that was struck on the shoulder of the highway. Luckily the trooper was not seriously injured and was able to return to work a short time after the collision.

This static display is an effort to join with the Utah Highway Patrol to raise awareness of the dangers our troopers are in each day as they perform their duties. You can learn more on our Education Initiatives page.

If you have an event and would like us to display the damaged patrol vehicle contact us. We are always looking for opportunities to share our Slow Down-Move Over message.

BACK THE BEEHIVE - AUTO SHOW AND SHARE EVENT AND SCHOLARSHIP DISTRIBUTION

The Honoring Heroes Foundation held the annual Auto Show and Share event as part their Back the Beehive initiative. On Saturday May 13, 2023 we welcomed those with exotic or high-end supercars to display them on the front steps of the Utah State Capitol Building in Salt Lake City, UT.

A large portion of the displayed vehicles were participants in the Utah Fast Pass / Beehive Drive. That event operated from 2006 to 2015 and raised funds for the Honoring Heroes Foundation along with rural communities.

In conjunction with the event the Honoring Heroes Foundation distributed $118,000 in scholarships. The scholarships are for the dependents of Utah Department of Public Safety employees as they pursue post high school education.

Each year the foundation provides these scholarships entirely through donated funds from people like you. You can participate in this program by stopping by our Donate Now page or by getting your Honoring Heroes Foundation license plate today.
