May 8th - Teacher Appreciation Week Breakfast
On Wednesday, May 8th, the Hospitality Committee will be hosting a Teacher Appreciation Breakfast to honor our teachers and staff during this special week. All contributions are greatly appreciated!
Please deliver your food items to Homestead between 7:45-8:30 a.m. the day of the event. A member of the hospitality committee will be by the front entrance starting at 7:45 a.m. to collect everything. If your items are easy to carry, you are welcome to send them with your child. If you decide to bring something in a crockpot, please consider using a crockpot liner if possible - it makes for much easier clean up! You can pick up any serving dishes and utensils at the end of the school day.
Please note- If you are able to donate items but cannot deliver them to the school that morning, please reach out to Kristenweinberg@gmail.com or 630-606-4355. If you’d prefer to donate money to help purchase any last-minute items that are needed, you are welcome to Venmo @kristen-weinberg and note that it’s for the Hospitality Event.

What is the Hospitality Committee?
The Hospitality Committee's hope is to create a sense of warmth and belonging. We provide this specifically through food, beverages and smiles.
The Hospitality Committee is also the official host of the general PTA. Our goal is to establish an approachable and friendly atmosphere at PTA meetings and other school functions.
As a committee member you will provide snacks and beverages for various school functions. You can choose to donate once or donate multiple times. The Committee Chair will contact you via email prior to each upcoming date.
Donations are dropped off by you at the school in either the front office or at the event location. Occasionally volunteers may be asked to assist with setup or cleanup.
