What is a "Homeschool Supervisor"?
Under Pennsylvania homeschool law, the Homeschool Supervisor is the parent or legal guardian responsible for directing the young person's education. To qualify as the supervisor, you must hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. While your family may utilize resource centers like Natural Creativity Center, tutors, online programs, or co-ops, you remain the official legal supervisor who signs compliance documents and maintains overall responsibility for your young person's educational program.
Note for Natural Creativity Center Families: To ensure all participating families remain in full compliance with state law, Natural Creativity will ask beginning-of-year questions to confirm that your district filings (affidavit, objectives, and medical records) are complete before or at the start of the program year
