My name is Miss Nacha, and I’m currently a third-year student majoring in Early Childhood Education at Kanchanaburi Rajabhat University, Thailand.
Ever since I was young, I’ve always loved spending time with children. Their honesty, curiosity, and smiles inspire me to become the kind of teacher who nurtures not only their knowledge but also their hearts.
When I heard about the SEA Teacher Program, I knew it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to step outside my comfort zone and grow as a future educator — in another country, culture, and classroom.
Though I had my doubts, especially about communicating in English, I told myself: “If not now, when?”
So, with excitement and determination, I packed my bags and flew to Indonesia to begin this unforgettable journey.
First of all, I would like to thank the SEA Teacher Program for giving me this opportunity to grow beyond the classroom walls. It has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.
To Kanchanaburi Rajabhat University and the Faculty of Education, thank you for encouraging me to take this step and for believing in my potential.
To the wonderful teachers and staff at Apkaruna Kindergarten, thank you for welcoming me with open arms, guiding me with patience, and treating me as part of your team. Your kindness means the world to me.
To my mentor teacher, thank you for your trust and support throughout the practicum. I learned so much from your example.
To my fellow SEA Teacher friends — thank you for the memories, late-night talks, and all the laughter we shared. We started this journey as strangers but ended it as family.
And finally, to my parents, friends, and everyone who stood by me — your encouragement helped me fly further than I ever thought I could.
From the bottom of my heart: thank you.
This journey may have lasted only a month, but its lessons will stay with me for a lifetime.
