JUNIOR/SENIOR PROM

 INFORMATION & REGISTRATION

We hope you are excited about Prom 2024!!  

Please carefully read over the important reminders below.  

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Prom Registration is open from March 1st - March 27th.    ** Only 140 spots available

• Junior/Senior MUST be a Home Ed Member, but their guest does not.

• The Home Ed Junior/Senior MUST have paid mandatory class dues.

PAYMENT

• The Prom RSVP is not considered complete until payment has been received!

• Payment must be received within 2 days of your RSVP.  If payment is not made within 2 days of your RSVP, your reserved space will be released.

• Payment must be made via Paypal to homeedclassof2025@gmail.com (friends & family option only), and a message must be inserted with the Paypal payment to include the name of the student & guest!!

• If you choose a 2-ticket option, you must pay in full in one transaction!  Do not complete the registration form if you do not know the name of your guest.  If you have any issues with using the friends & family option, please contact us at  HomeEdclassof2025@gmail.com 

PROM

• Cost - $75 per person (price includes dinner & ticket to the after-party).  The dinner menu is gluten and nut-friendly (not certified)

• Junior/Senior MUST be a Home Ed Member, but their guest does not.

• Limit: 1 guest per Home Ed Junior/Senior

• Guest must NOT be under the age of 15 or over the age of 20.

• There will be a shuttle available to bring guests from the parking lot to the venue.

• Students should be mindful and not leave valuables in plain sight and lock their vehicles. 

• Venue grounds will be open at 5pm for pictures, Doors open at 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

• Students & guests are highly encouraged to change from their Prom clothes at Main Event.

• Prom Dinner Menu: The menu is gluten and nut friendly (not certified)

Dinner - Roasted Chicken Breast Cutlet in a sauce, roasted potatoes, green beans, salad, and a roll.  Dessert - decorated sugar cookies and cupcakes (a gluten/dairy free roll and dessert from Dempsey's will be available for those that have a dairy/gluten allergy)

DRESS CODE:

• For this event, we are requiring all attendees to come dressed in the attire that aligns with thier biological sex at birth.

• It is the responsibility of the Home Ed member to share the dress code with their guest.

• Home Ed reserves the right to deny entry to anyone if his/her outfit is deemed inappropriate

GUYS:  unacceptable attire for gentlemen includes -

• Khakis

• Jeans

• Shorts

• T-shirts

• Untucked/Unbuttoned shirt

• Dresses or skirts

GIRLS:

• Length - Dress must not be shorter than mid-thigh at any point of the dress.  This includes the slit of the dress. (Most wear longer dresses to prom).

• Midriff - Only a narrow portion of the midriff may show (2" maximum) and absolutely NO visible belly buttons

• Neckline - The neckline of the dress should not expose one's cleavage (including shear or see-through material)

• Backline - Dresses with an open back may not dip beyond the lower backline (natural waistline)

• No men's dress suits.  Women's pants suit or jumper is acceptable.

CODE OF CONDUCT

• Once students and guests have entered the building, they are not allowed to exit unless they are leaving prom and do not plan to re-enter.

• Home Ed reserves the right to deny entry to anyone if his/her outfit is deemed inappropriate or if anyone arrives under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

• Attendees must use the restroom that aligns with their biological sex at birth

• No tobacco products or vaping

• No weapons

• No drugs or alcohol

• No outside food or drinks

• No inappropriate PDA

• No provocative dance moves

• Be respectful of all prom chaperones and volunteers

• Be respectful of the facility and obey all venue rules and regulations (Please do not climb on or in the orchard trees.)

• Be honest

• Attendees must follow all guidelines and rules for this event

• PLEASE NOTE:  Neither Home Ed nor Class Sponsors/Chaperones are responsible for students and guests once they leave either venue.  We are not responsible for transporation from the Prom venue to the After-Party location.  Please ensure that your student and guest are picked up from one or both locations in a timely manner.  Chaperones will not be at this Prom venue after 10:30 pm.  Chaperones will not be at the After-Party Venue after 1:00 am.

Any violation of the code of conduct could lead to being removed from the event.  If removed for any reason, no refunds will be given.

AFTER PARTY

Main Event:  (Prom After-party) includes bowling, laser tag, billiards, shuffleboard, $10 fun card, and 2 slices of pizza and unlimited soda.  If your child wants to play VR games or wants to purchase additional food, please consider sending them with extra money.

• Registration begins at 10:15, doors open at 10:30 pm - 1:00 am

• Our event is complete, and chaperones will be leaving, at 1:00 am

• NOTE: If you or your guest leave the After-Party, you will not be allowed Re-Entry.  Please plan accordingly.

• Attendees can wear appropriate casual attire to the prom after-party, as long as It adheres to the prom dress code and Code of Conduct
