Holy Baptism and Holy Communion are both sacraments (sacred actions of God) that we celebrate in our church. In the waters of baptism, God acts to join us to Christ's death and resurrection and we become members of the body of Christ. In the communion meal, God acts to nourish us with the body and blood of Christ. In both sacraments we are assured of God's forgiveness, new life and salvation.
ASSIGNMENT: Interview one person who attended your Baptism and find out 3 things you didn’t already know about your Baptism day. Example: What is the date of your baptism? Who was present for your Baptism (family/friends)? Who are your Baptism sponsors? Did you wear anything special that day? Was there anything special about the service that is really memorable? How did your family celebrate your Baptism day?
