Proud of Our Past, Focused on the Future
I'm Michelle Hoffman, a proud South Carolinian hailing from Spartanburg, with a deep-rooted commitment to our community. My husband, John Hoffman, and I have been happily married for 18 years, and we are the proud parents of two wonderful daughters—one in 8th grade at Forest Creek Middle School and the other in 10th grade at Catawba Ridge High School.
My educational journey began in Charlotte, I worked for E*TRADE Financial until I decided to pursue a Master of Arts in Teaching from Queens University of Charlotte. I then taught Kindergarten through 5th grade at Myers Park Traditional School. When my husband’s career led us to Fort Mill, I had the joy of teaching at Doby’s Bridge Elementary and substituting at Gold Hill Middle School. In 2020, I was honored to receive the Winthrop University Outstanding Collaborating Mentor Teacher Award.
I am committed to the Fort Mill community in many ways. I am an active member of Unity Presbyterian Church, where I contribute to the Youth Ministry Team, and I also support our community as a Friend of the Greenway and Co-Chair of the Greenway Ladies Guild.
