Star Wars Camp Day 1

Today we kicked off Star Wars week! We started off by of course warming our bodies up with scatterball. We then moved on to the most important task, making our own lightsabers! Our campers had to decide if they were a Jedi or a sith for the week! After this we went into some Jedi training, because most of the sith leaders were first Jedi (just like Anakin) ! And due to some circumstance with the pool and having to cancel, Master Holt saved the day and got us a water slide! Our Jedi had a blast!

Star Wars Camp Day 2

Today was day 2 of our Star Wars week! Todays question was, who’s your favorite Anakin or Obi-wan? Our Jedi enjoyed some nice outside time this morning before the heat hit, we even had a mist maker out there to keep us cool! We played some games like tag and 4 corners while some of our other Jedi preferred to draw some chalk pictures! Then we headed inside for some arts and crafts! Each Jedi was able to design a droid using paper shapes! After this we played a few more games like stormtrooper tag and hide and seek. Of course we took a dance break! We ended this fun day with some dodgeball!

Star Wars Day 3

Today was day 3 of Star Wars camp! Our Jedi started off with warming there bodies up with some scatterball! We even changed the ball to a yoga ball throughout the game. After this we moved into some arts and crafts. Today we made paper bag Chewbacca’s and puppet baby yodas ! When we finished our crafts we played a new game called find the Jedi, where one stormtrooper was blind folded and had to find as many Jedi as they could! This was a challenging but fun game!

Today was day 4 of Star Wars week! We planned on starting our day with outside time but the heat had other plans! Instead we played a few new games like photo tag, where our Jedi had 10 seconds to be hidden from the camera or they were out! After this we played the floor is lava and lava monster! We moved into some free play where campers were able to do Star Wars coloring sheets or pick a few different games to play. Then of course we had our movie day! Jedi were able to relax on the mat and watch Star Wars The Force Awakens!

Today was the last day of our star wars week! We warmed up our bodies with some scatterball, then had a surprise dance party! Our campers favorite song was the Cha Cha Slide! Then our campers colored their own Yoda face onto green plates, then added some big Yoda ears. We then had our asteroid and character hunt! Small asteroids and star wars figures were hidden around the studio and campers had to find them! We then had lunch because it was pizza Fri-YAY! Our campers enjoyed some water games outside including a water balloon toss, sliding down the slip and slide and an all our water balloon fight! Thank you campers for a great week!
