Harry Potter Week, Day 1

For Harry Potter camp day 1 we started off by transporting ourselves into Hogwarts, by taking the train to platform 9 & 3/4! We played a few games like quidditch scatterball and quidditch tag. Later on in the day we went through quidditch practice stations! These stations are helping us prepare for our actual quidditch games! And of course our campers needed a little break from all the witchcraft and wizardry so we headed down the block for some pool time!

Harry Potter Camp Day 2

For Harry Potter camp day 2 we started off camp getting transported into Hogsmeade! Our wizards enjoyed some nice and fresh outside time this morning. We practiced teamwork and showed off our skills while practicing quidditch today! Our mega craft for today was Ollivander's Wand Making! Each wizard was able to make there own wand anyway they wanted! Our wizards did an impressive job helping each other with the clay making and painting parts of todays craft!

Harry Potter Camp Day 3

For Harry Potter camp day 3 we started off by transporting our wizards into potions class! We of course warmed up with some quidditch scatterball! Our big event today was 4 sided quidditch! Each house had a corner and could aim at any of the houses in the room! It was a tough fight but Gryffindor was able to bring home the championship name! Don’t worry though wizards we will keep practicing until the final tournament on Friday! Today we had 2 crafts, one beaded one where our wizards could make any Harry Potter character and the other where each wizard had to make a potion and write down the ingredients!

Harry Potter Camp Day 4

For Harry Potter camp day 4 our wizards were transported to Hagrids Hut! Of course this meant outside time, so our wizards played a few different wizarding games out here. We used skills like team work and problem solving to play these games! After this we moved on to arts and crafts. Each wizard was able to make a winged key, just like in the books and movies! After some crafting we moved into our giant flying course! Each wizard had to fly this course using there broomstick! Then we ran our final practice of quidditch to finally prepare for the Triwizard Tournament! Good luck to all of our wizards in the tournament games tomorrow!

Harry Potter Camp Day 5

Today was our final day of Harry Potter camp! Our wizards came into camp today greeted by the hogwarts fireworks! They each had an Azkaban wanted sign, and through the camp were acceptance letters to hogwarts! Today we had final games, this consisted of games like tug of war and quidditch! Our Triwizard tournament winners were Gryffindor but all of our wizards did a fantastic job this week! And of course we had to have some water day fun outside! We came in to enjoy some trolley treats! We hope our wizards have a fantastic weekend, we will see you all next week for Star Wars Camp!
