Registration Day Fundraiser

PTO's one and done fundraiser to fund the year. 7th grade versus 8th grade to see who can collect the most donations. The grade that raises the most wins the Scoops and Hoops party. This fundraiser sets the PTO’s program budget for the year. https://app.99pledges.com/fund/hmspto2026 Party will be in the gym during school hours this Fall. Students must wear athletic shoes to be able to participate in open gym.

PBIS and Hawk Store

Students earn hawk tickets when teachers catch them being Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Learn. Admin will also award tickets to students showing School Spirit. Tickets are awarded to the student’s account in Focus and can be redeemed for drinks,treats from the Hawk Store or open Gym, and open Media Center.

Bright Ideas Mini-grants

The Hoover PTO BRIGHT IDEAS Mini-Grant Program will provide funds so that teachers may enhance student learning by developing creative lessons which will meet academic performance standards. We urge all teachers to apply for these mini-grants by completing the application at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1hc03YjWWa-T_0Ms85EXh93PGrt0jGUEt/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=103349438179569934797&rtpof=true&sd=true or request a hard copy from Mrs. Woodbrey. We budget $1,500 per year to fund these grants.

School Dances

The PTO will provide decorations and coordinate volunteers for the Back to School Dance (September) and Winter Dance in (January). The dance is in the gym. Students need to wear athletic shoes to the gym.

Community Day

The PTO will provide funds to the coordinators of the Hoover Community Day and Pickleball Tournament.

Hawk Rock

The PTO will work with Ms. Patterson to organize two parties a year (one per semester) for all the students who earn Hawk of the Month.

8th Grade End of Year Celebration

The PTO will plan the 8th Grade Graduation celebration at the end of the school year. We budget $1,500 to pay for party, then the party pays for itself when the 8th graders buy tickets. The celebration will be in May in the party room at the Oaks Theatre.

Got Sneakers

Our school is participating in a fundraiser where there is nothing to buy or sell; All we need is your support and your gently worn, used, or new sneakers! The sneakers that we all collect will help raise money to support our school AND will help our environment by keeping sneakers out of landfills. Just drop them in the box in the front office.
