Parents of rising 6th Graders that wish to join the band should complete the online registration form by clicking the ling below. Instrument selection information can be found by clicking on the

 Join Band section of this website.

Instrument sections will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. You should not purchase an instrument without teacher approval.

Earned at this year's MPA for the Northwest District of the NC Bandmasters Association and NC Music Educators Association.

Superior ratings and 1st Place finishes for our Concert Band and Percussion Ensemble at Music in the Parks Festival at Carowinds.

On Saturday, May 20, 2023 or 6th Graders performed on stage at Carowinds Festival of Music. They earned an EXCELLENT rating. Awesome first festival experience for our beginners!

We had 21 students earn seats in this year's Burke County Middle School Honors Band!
