Performances

The Spiral Singers perform on all 7th and 8th grade choir concerts.  We also have the following extra performance dates:

Thurs, Oct 26 Children’s Concert at High School  6pm

Sat, Nov 25    Holiday Hoopla, 4:15pm downtown Hastings

        Sun, Dec 10 River Valley Band Concert, 1pm at HMS

Sat, Jan 13 National Anthem at wrestling meet, 8:30am at HMS

Tues, Jan 23 National Anthem at swimming meet, 6pm at HMS (5:45 warmups)

        Sat, Mar 2              National Anthem at Hastings Arena, 7pm

        Mon, Apr 22 National Anthem at Todd Field, 7pm

Thurs, Apr 25 MS Jazz Night, HMS gym 7pm, warmups 6pm

        Mon, May 29         Memorial Day Service, 12:30pm

Keep these expectations in mind

Be on time for rehearsal!   

We will start promptly at 7:15am.  Be on time!  Plan to arrive at school at 7:05 and go to your locker to get books for 1st hour

Don’t miss rehearsal!   

After two absences, you must meet with the director and discuss your attendance.

Communicate    

If you know you’re going to be gone, can’t find a ride to practice, don’t know what to wear to the concert, etc. – see Mrs. Borgen!  YOU are in Spiral Singers, YOU need to be responsible.

Be a Leader   

This is the only auditioned group in our choral program.  We have high expectations for you in Spiral Singers and in your regular choir.  Poor behavior/participation in rehearsal is grounds for removal from Spiral Singers.
