2026年5月23日（土）、九州大学大学院総合理工学府のオープンキャンパスが開催され、当研究室（光エレクトロニクス・光デバイス工学）も参加いたしました 。 

当日はD102教室にて「体験！光の面白い世界へ」をテーマに掲げ、受験生や高校生、地域住民の皆様をお迎えしました 。 

研究室紹介のポスター展示に加え、実験コーナーではブレッドボードを用いたRGBのLED発光実験や、電子ブロックを用いた光情報伝送のデモンストレーション、錯視や3Dメガネの体験を行いました 。さらに、工作コーナーでは偏光フィルムを使ったステンドグラスや、回折フィルムを使った万華鏡作りを実施し、小さなお子様から大人まで多くの方に「ものづくり」を楽しんでいただきました 。

 賑やかな雰囲気の中、多くの方に光の技術の魅力や当研究室の研究活動を知っていただく大変貴重な機会となりました。ご来場いただいた皆様に心より感謝申し上げます。また、準備から当日の運営まで協力して取り組んだ研究室のメンバーの皆さん、大変お疲れ様でした。

On Saturday, May 23, 2026, the Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Engineering Sciences (IGSES) at Kyushu University held its Open Campus, and our laboratory (Optoelectronics and Optical Devices Engineering) was delighted to participate.

Under the theme "Experience the Fascinating World of Light!", we welcomed prospective graduate students, high schoolers, and local residents to Room D102. In addition to poster presentations introducing our research, our hands-on experiment corner featured RGB LED lighting experiments using breadboards, optical data transmission demonstrations using electronic blocks, and interactive displays on optical illusions and 3D glasses. Furthermore, our workshop corner offered hands-on crafting activities, such as making stained glass using polarizing films and kaleidoscopes using diffraction films. Visitors of all ages, from young children to adults, thoroughly enjoyed the experience of making things firsthand.

The venue was filled with a lively atmosphere, making it a truly valuable opportunity to share the charm of optical technology and our laboratory's research activities with so many people. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited us. We also want to give a big thank you to all the laboratory members who worked together so seamlessly, from the initial preparations to running the event on the day.

M1のWU SIJIEさんのご報告です。 

4月3日（金）、春爛漫の心地よい日差しの中、浜本研究室と濱口研究室合同の「お花見会」を開催いたしました。

今回の会場は、キャンパス近くの公園です。満開の桜の下、先生方と学生たちが一堂に会しました。新年度が始まったばかりということもあり、新しく配属された私（吴思杰）を含め、メンバー同士の親睦を深める絶好の機会となりました。

お花見では、たくさんの焼き鳥や唐揚げ、お菓子、そしてビールなどが用意され、みんなで美味しくいただきました。研究室のメンバー全員が心から楽しみ、学年や国籍の垣根を越えて、お互いのことをより深く知ることができました。

美しい桜に癒やされ、これからの研究活動に向けて英気を養うことができた一日でした。最後になりますが、素敵な会の準備を進めてくださった皆様、本当にありがとうございました！

On Friday, April 3rd, under the pleasant spring sunshine, the Hamamoto and Hamaguchi Laboratories held a joint Hanami (cherry blossom viewing) party.

The event took place at a park near the campus, where faculty members and students gathered under the cherry blossoms in full bloom. As it was the very beginning of the new academic year, it was a perfect opportunity for everyone to get to know each other better—including myself (WU SIJIE), the newest member of the team.

We enjoyed a wonderful spread of food and drinks, including plenty of yakitori, karaage, snacks, and beer. It was a heartwarming time where all members could connect beyond their year levels or nationalities.

Surrounded by the beautiful cherry blossoms, we were able to recharge our energy for our upcoming research activities. Finally, a big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to organize such a wonderful event!
