On the anniversary of Executive Order 9066 ,  signed by President Roosevelt , "enabling military authorities to designate military areas from which “any or all persons may be excluded.”  Heather Cox Richardson brilliantly and succinctly traces Asian exclusion laws back to the arrival of Chinese in 1849 and through the many other exclusion laws and court cases  historically affecting, excluding, and limiting rights for Asians in America.
