The Historical Review offers many ways for students to get involved in the management, coordination, and editorial process of a student publication. We value involvement from all majors, years, and areas of study. We have positions on both our editorial and executive boards suited for many different strengths. 

The Historical Review's Executive Board consists of 1-2 Editors-in-Chief, an Outreach Officer, a Secretary, and a Layout Editor. Descriptions of each position are available on our Leadership page. Recruitment is done starting in late Summer.

The Historical Review's Editorial Board makes final decisions regarding submissions to the journal. Editors are responsible for reviewing initial submissions and working one-on-one with individual authors to improve their quality and adjust them to fit the Historical Review's standards.
