about us

In our laboratory, we aim to elucidate the molecular basis of biological phenomena such as carcinogenesis, aging, and inflammation by employing a wide range of molecular biological and biochemical approaches.

Currently, the Laboratory of Biochemistry consists of three faculty members—Professor Tomoaki Hishida, Lecturer Shinobu Fujii, and Assistant Professor Chihiro Ito—as well as 14 sixth-year, 14 fifth-year, and 15 fourth-year undergraduate students.

We are currently recruiting graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.
