• I'll make sure you know the critical stuff, and leave the fluff behind. I won't cc you on every single email because ostensibly, you didn't hire me so you could spend your day observing my awesome communication skills and writing ability.

• My goal will be to make sure you know the important and relevant news, good or bad, before anyone else does.

• We'll sit down so I can understand where we are headed as an organization, and I'll develop departmental goals that line up with them.

• Then I'll make sure the team is aligned with that awesome destination so we can get there together.
