Youth Festival

Youth Festival2022

After a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Maharaja Krishnakumarsinghji Bhavnagar University (MKBU) held their Youth Festival from September 18th to 21st, 2022! The festival was hosted by Taxshila Institute and kicked off with a colorful "Kalayatra" procession that went from Water tank to the university. Over four days, the festival hosted a variety of events where students from 44 colleges across the Bhavnagar University region showcased their talents. The opening ceremony officially began the festivities on September 19th. Students from the Department of English actively participated in the festival, competing in 17 different events! Their hard work and talent paid off, and they achieved impressive results:

I personally immersed myself in the creative spirit by participating in two events: the on-the-spot painting competition and the poster-making competition. Though I didn't secure a ranking, the experience proved to be incredibly valuable. Participating allowed me to explore my creativity, develop my skills, and immerse myself in the vibrant atmosphere of the festival. I learned a lot from the process and from the other talented participants.
