The Higham Ferrers Chichele Society – the society meets regularly for talks and exhibitions covering the history of the area.

Rushden Historical Transport Society – owns and runs Rushden Transport Museum, with over 650 members and organises one of the biggest Transport Rallies and County Shows in the area attracting over 25,000 people to Rushden during the annual 3-day event.

Northamptonshire Family History Society – genealogy and family history with a special emphasis on the county of Northamptonshire.

British Association for Local History – the national charity which promotes local history and serves local historians.

Rushden & District History Society – RDHS – was formed early in 1991 and aims to encourage and facilitate the study and preservation of Northamptonshire history.

The Friends of St. Marys – a Registered Charity whose members are dedicated to the preservation of the magnificent Grade 1 listed buildings that have dominated the life of Higham Ferrers for 800 years.

Chichele College Garden – this newly created medieval style garden was a community project initiated by the Higham Ferrers Tourism, Business and Community Partnership funded by a National Lottery Community Spaces grant and the generosity of the local community.The garden is a place for contemplation, recreation and education for the local community, as well visitors to the College.
