These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and participation in hiking experiences offered through High in the Mountains (the “Experiences”).

By booking or participating, you agree to the following terms.

1. Who provides the experiences

The Experiences are offered by an independent local guide based in Montseny, Spain (“the Guide”, “I”, “me”).

At this stage, services are provided as a private individual. In the future, they may be provided under a registered business without affecting these terms.

2. Nature of the experiences

All Experiences are outdoor hiking activities in natural terrain.

They include walking on forest paths, mountain trails, uneven ground, slopes, and changing weather conditions.

These are private experiences, guided personally for you and your group.

3. Pricing & payments

Prices are listed per person on the website.

Children under 16 receive a 20% discount.

Payment is made through the booking system (currently Calendly or agreed methods after contact).

Full payment is required to confirm the booking.

4. What is included

Each experience includes:

• Private guided hike

• Route planning and guidance

• Picnic snacks (unless stated otherwise)

Transportation, insurance, and personal equipment are not included unless explicitly stated.

5. Booking & cancellation

You may cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the experience are non-refundable.

In case of unsafe weather or conditions, the Guide may reschedule or cancel the experience with a full refund.

6. Fitness & participation

You are responsible for choosing an experience that matches your physical ability.

You confirm that:

• You are in good health

• You can walk for several hours

• You do not have medical conditions that make hiking unsafe

The Guide may refuse participation if someone’s condition, behavior or equipment makes the hike unsafe.

7. Children

Children may join depending on the route and age.

Parents or guardians are fully responsible for their children at all times.

8. Responsibility & risk

Hiking involves natural risks, including but not limited to:

• Slips, falls and uneven terrain

• Weather changes

• Fatigue

• Insects, plants or wildlife

By participating, you accept that these risks exist and agree to take responsibility for your own safety.

The Guide is not responsible for injuries, illness, loss of personal items or accidents unless caused by gross negligence.

9. Insurance

You are responsible for having appropriate travel and health insurance covering outdoor activities.

10. Photos & content

Photos taken during the experience may be used for promotional purposes unless you request otherwise.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
