By booking or participating in any hiking experience offered through High in the Mountains, you acknowledge and agree to the following.
All experiences involve outdoor hiking in natural environments, including forests, mountain trails, rocky paths, uneven ground, slopes and changing weather conditions.
These activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
• Slips, trips and falls
• Sudden weather changes
• Physical fatigue or strain
• Exposure to sun, wind, cold or heat
• Contact with plants, insects or wildlife
By participating, you understand that not all risks can be eliminated.
You are responsible for:
• Assessing your own physical condition
• Choosing an experience suitable for your fitness level
• Wearing appropriate clothing and footwear
• Bringing necessary personal items (water, sun protection, medication, etc.)
You confirm that you are in adequate health to participate in outdoor hiking activities.
If you have any medical conditions that may affect your ability to hike safely (including heart conditions, asthma, injuries or mobility issues), you must inform the Guide before the experience.
Participation is at your own risk.
The Guide provides:
• Route planning
• Navigation
• Local knowledge and guidance
The Guide does not provide:
• Medical care
• Emergency rescue services
• Insurance coverage
The Guide may adjust the route, pace or cancel the experience if safety requires it.
You agree that the Guide is not responsible for:
• Accidents or injuries resulting from natural conditions
• Your own actions or decisions
• Failure to follow safety instructions
• Loss or damage of personal belongings
This does not limit liability in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Weather and trail conditions can change quickly.
The Guide may shorten, modify or cancel the experience if conditions are unsafe.
You are responsible for having appropriate health and travel insurance that covers outdoor activities.
By booking and participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with outdoor hiking and release the Guide from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
