Our Puppies

Puppies at HCK Kennels are purebred Pointing Labrador retrievers. All of our puppies are raised by us. We are there for birth, and until the puppy finds its forever home. No matter what every dog is played with, exposed to all kinds of sounds and new things, and is loved on equally. We regularly have children and elderly folks out on the ranch to see the puppies to expose them to more people than just us. We also try to socialize the puppies with our other dogs at the house. Of course, this is all done after they are vaccinated at 6-7 weeks old. From the time the puppy is born to when it is 4 weeks old they are all weighed daily, and this is too ensure that each pup is getting the nutrients it needs to grow. We watch the pups and help care for them all day 24-7 to make sure that each of them are healthy and to get to know their personalities. 

Every litter our dogs have produced so far has been very equal, for instance Molly's litter of 2022. Molly threw 5 black pups 5 chocolates, and 5 males, 5 females. Every puppy in that litter was about the same weight only being 1-2 ounces in between weights. In that litter we did not lose any puppies either, not even at birth. 

We have gotten a lot of great reviews from buyers who have had dogs from us for more than a few years, and we have had quite a few old customers buy from us again. After breeding Molly for the third time, we have began to notice that males are about 70-80 Ibs. when adults, and females are 50-60 Ibs. when adults.  

The pups are raised just outside of Bozeman MT, on a ranch with hundreds of acres, grass, and livestock to be exposed to. They are used to loud noises, being handled on an every day basis, and getting to be puppies with their first eight weeks of life with us!
