General gameplan: Primarily relies on the Rank 3 monsters as endboard pieces, if you have access to the Battlewasp engine. Make Cicada King and use its effect to revive Sting during the opponent's turn, which gives you an extra monster negate.
Example combos:
Wynn + Sting = Cicada King + Totem Bird

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 Level 3 or lower Insect monster in your GY; Special Summon that monster in Defense Position. If this card in its owner's possession is destroyed by an opponent's card: You can Special Summon 1 "Battlewasp" monster from your hand or Deck. You can only use this effect of "Battlewasp - Arbalest the Rapidfire" once per turn.
A potential second search off Sting to let you make a Level 6 Synchro or a 2nd Rubber Band Shooter on Turn 3.

The primary search off of Sting since it’s a free extender that doesn’t lock you.

You can only use each effect of "Battlewasp - Sting the Poison" once per turn.
The main playstarter. Searches Pin, makes Marcher (or Cork to search), gets summoned back by Cicada King for an extra negate.

During your Main Phase: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Insect monsters. You can only use this effect of "Battlewasp - Twinbow the Attacker" once per turn. This card can make a second attack during each Battle Phase.
The other alternative search off Sting. Extends into Cicada King.

You can only use each effect of "Number 3: Cicada King" once per turn.
The main endboard piece of this variant. Can negate your own effects as well, so you can use something like RBS’ extra NS then negate it and summon an extender before going into Auroradon for more gas.
