Himadri Sen Gupta

Himadri Sen Gupta is a PhD Candidate in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. He also completed his Master of Science in the same field at the University of Oklahoma. Himadri is a dedicated Research Assistant at the Community Resilience CORE Research Lab, a NIST-funded lab focused on improving community resilience against natural disasters.


Himadri is very involved in student organizations at OU, including the INFORMS, IISE, and APICS Student Chapters. He loves teaching and working on scientific projects. Before coming to OU, he was a lecturer at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he worked closely with students and colleagues in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering.


Himadri's leadership and expertise are well recognized. He was the faculty adviser for the MIST Student Chapter of the IEOM Society and was very active in various groups and societies during his time at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology. There, he was the General Secretary for the IEM Robotics and CAD Club and the Publication Secretary for the IEM Association.


With a strong background in research, teaching, and leadership, Himadri Sen Gupta is on track to make important contributions to the field of Industrial and Systems Engineering.
