ASPIRE 2024 Practitioner Award
The Occupational Ergonomics Technical Group and Practitioner Group would like to invite HFES members to submit nominations for an exceptional Practitioner of the Year, who will be recognized along with other award winners at the OETG Business meeting at ASPIRE 2024. The winner will receive a $300 award, certificate, and inclusion with other award winners in OETG's social media posts and newsletter.
ASPIRE 2024 OETG Awards
The Occupational Ergonomics Technical Group will be giving 5 awards during ASPIRE 2024 to be held from September 9-13, 2024, at the Arizona Biltmore Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona: (1) Best Translation Paper, (2) Best Computational Paper, (3) Best Experimental Paper, (4) Best Interdisciplinary Paper, and (5) Best Poster. Each award winner will receive $300.
Call for students to join OETG Leadership
We are looking for two students to join the OETG Leadership. The student should help OETG connect with other students, be the voice of the students in the OETG Leadership, and assist in planning events and activities. If you are interested, contact Dr. Divya Srinivasan (sriniv5@clemson.edu).
2023 HFES OETG Student Travel Award
The HFES OETG is pleased to announce two need-based student travel grants for the 67th HFES International Annual Meeting. These awards aim to support students to present an accepted paper or poster at the Annual Meeting. To be eligible for the award, the applicant must be a student and must have an accepted paper or poster that will be presented at the Annual Meeting. Each awardee will receive $500.

OETG is looking for reviewers to help review this year's HFES Annual Conference papers. Please fill out this short form by March 14th if you are willing and able to review submissions. Submit your proposal and save the date!
Save the dates for the 67th International Annual Meeting, October 23-27, at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC. Make plans to submit a proposal to the Occupational Ergonomics Track and attend! The submission deadline is Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 5:00 pm Eastern Time.
We invite you to submit your papers to the occupational ergonomics track.
Some topics of interest for this year include: (1) occupational biomechanics (fatigue, motor control, musculoskeletal injury risk mechanics, material handling), (2) translating wearable technologies (e.g., sensors, exoskeletons) from research to practice, (3) advances in 3D anthropometry, (4) inclusive work design.
