Commissioned “to proclaim God’s love in Jesus Christ,” HFA envisions a revitalized school community that “is Christ-centered, develops human wholeness and upholds the common good” (GS Faculty Manual 2006, 4). Taking this vision in its global and local contexts, the Grade School Campus Ministry strives to forge a Christ-centered learning community where every member strives to be a true witness of God’s love; is socially aware and conversant with the socio-economic and political situation of the country; nurtures and cares for Mother Earth, praising, loving, and serving God and others in the spirit of “Ora et Labora.”
Having such vision, the Grade School Campus Ministry seeks to facilitate faith experiences that allow every member to grow and mature holistically in the Christian faith by living out the Filipino and Gospel-rooted Benedictine values.
The Grade School Campus Ministry aims to:
Provide activities and opportunities that foster growth in self-knowledge and the knowledge of God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit, and grow in personal relationship with the Triune God.
Foster vibrant and meaningful liturgical celebrations that enable every member to experience God and His love for humankind.
Enable every member to embrace the Christian calling to proclaim and spread God’s love in Jesus Christ.
Promote vocations to the priestly and religious Missionary Benedictine life.
Coordinate with the Outreach Office with regards to Catechism of public school children in the adopted area.
Establish link with the parish and other schools’ Campus Ministry Office.
