Congratulations to Heydon Park S.S Cosmo students Jahlisa and Jahnia for not only winning the @AHENnet award in Arts/craftsmanship category -Cosmetology last semester for their outstanding skills and volunteer work in the Cosmo program and now...this week, they have both been accepted into the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program @tdsboyap -Studio 500 Hairstyling starting next semester! They are the first students from Heydon Park S.S to ever be accepted into the program. We are so tremendously proud of your hard work! We will miss seeing you everyday, but are so happy for your bright future :)

AHEN’s 10th Annual Black Student Recognition Awards Ceremony: Congratulations Jahnia & Jahlisa!
Jahlisa and Jahnia L. were selected to be recipients of the 'Arts- Creativity in dance, drama, visual art, music, craftsmanship, or uniqueness at the 2022 African Heritage Educators’ Network (AHEN) Excellence Award! This nomination was for their outstanding work in the Cosmetology Program. We are so proud of their hard work and accomplishments. Congratulations Jahlisa and Jahnia!
