On March 15, HxA co-sponsored a Free Speech Friday event that gave students the chance to Disagree with a Professor about a position chosen by the professor. Thanks to Professors David Lebang, Sherri Moore, Alan Stamm, Paul Whelan and Brad Wilcox for coming up with great prompts for robust discussion. Students enjoyed the chance to get to know the professors and to share ideas in a non-threatening setting. On student said, "I met alot of people and I had great conversations about things i am very passionate about." Think Again was the other co-sponsor of the event.

UVA chapter president Mary Kate Cary recently spoke on a Heterodox webinar panel entitled, “Co-Teaching Across Viewpoints” alongside Bernard Avishai of Dartmouth College, and Michael Burns of Loyola University Chicago, who co-teach classes with colleagues who have opposing viewpoints on the Middle East and on religion and bioethics, respectively.
