We’re currently updating our website design, so some pages may look a little different while changes are underway.
Worship is at the heart of our life together at Heslington Church. As an ecumenical partnership between Anglicans and Methodists, our services draw on both traditions, offering a rhythm of prayer, Scripture, silence, music, and community that is open to everyone.
Whether you join us on a Sunday morning, come to a quiet midweek gathering, or attend a special service marking a significant moment in life, you are warmly welcome.
We offer a variety of services throughout the week, each with its own character and style:
Sunday Services — our main weekly gathering at 10:00 AM
Lectio Divina — gentle, guided reflection on Scripture
Student Evening Service — a term‑time service shaped by the University Chaplaincy
Thursday Communion — a short, quiet midweek Communion
Christian Meditation — stillness and silence in the WCCM tradition
We are here for you at the important moments of life:
Weddings
Baptisms (Christenings)
Funerals
These services are offered with care, warmth, and pastoral support. You can find more information on each dedicated page.
Our worship is:
warm and inclusive
rooted in prayer and Scripture
shaped by both Anglican and Methodist traditions
open to people of all ages and backgrounds
accessible for wheelchairs and buggies
