The post conference tours are scheduled on 1^st and 2^nd August, 2017. Kindly register for the tour of your preference by sending us an email at conference@chm.ahduni.edu.in by 20^th June, 2017.

1. Harappan Civilization Archaeological Tour, Gujarat

Archaeological Site 1: Lothal (78 kms from Ahmedabad)

Archaeological Site 2: Dholavira (370 kms from Ahmedabad)

Length of Tour: One night & Two days

Itinerary

Day 1: Travel from Ahmedabad to Lothal. Explore Lothal site and leave for Dholavira post lunch. Overnight stay at Dholavira Tourism Resort

Day 2: Explore Dholavira site and leave for Ahmedabad

Visit Adalaj Stepwell in Gandhinagar. Travel from Adalaj to Rani ki Vav, Patan. Visit the Stepwell and travel back to Ahmedabad

4. Crafts Tour in Gujarat

Locations: Villages of Surendranagar, Patan, Sayla (a princely state) and Ahmedabad

Length of Tour: One night & two days

Itinerary

Day 1:

Travel to Patan and visit Patola House. Leave for Surendranagar and visit the craft villages. Leave for Sayla in the evening. Overnight stay at Sayla.

Day 2:

Explore the crafts in and around Sayla. Leave for Ahmedabad and explore the crafts markets at Ahmedabad

5. Nature and Wildlife Reserves in Gujarat

Location: Sasan Gir (370 kms from Ahmedabad)

Length of Tour: One night & Two days

Itinerary

Day 1:

Travel to Sasan Gir and visit Devaliya Park – a 16 sqkm area fenced area with lions and other wildlife. (Entry tickets – Rs. 100 for Indian nationals and Rs. 1000 for foreign nationals)

Overnight stay at Sasan Gir

Day 2:

Explore the forest area and leave for Ahmedabad
