Hennepin Healthcare is located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, steps away from US Bank Stadium and within walking distance of the riverfront, theater district, and many restaurants and shopping. Parking is provided to residents and fellows in attached parking ramps to the downtown hospital campus. For public transit, there is a light rail station located within 2 blocks of the hospital and there are multiple bus connections as well.

This is the entrance to the main hospital and the Emergency Department. The medical center spans four city blocks, includes 484 licensed beds, and includes some specialty ambulatory clinics - the Kidney Center, Psychiatry, Positive Care (HIV) clinic and Coordinated Care clinic.

The Clinic and Specialty Center (CSC) is located across the street from the main hospital. The CSC houses the majority of our ambulatory clinics and has same day surgery center located on the top floor.

This is a hallway in the Cardiac Renal Medical Floor, which is a specialized step-down unit with telemetry for patients requiring a higher level of care (but not ICU-level care).

This is a resident workroom for the Red Internal Medicine service. Clinical decentral pharmacists work directly with medical residents, fellows and attending staff for optimized medication regimens.

Nursing stations are located centrally on each unit with patient rooms located peripherally around these stations.

Multidisciplinary patient care rounds include staff from medicine, nursing, pharmacy, social work, dietary and clinical coordination.

Murals and artwork are located on many hallways throughout the hospital and ambulatory clinics.

Medication rooms house Omnicells and are located near the nursing stations on all of the medical floors.

The hospital discharge pharmacy is located in the Red Building on the lower level, beneath the ED.

The central hospital pharmacy houses the clean rooms, a quick fill area, purchasing, compounding and medication dispensing.

The Green pharmacy serves HIV patients on the main campus in the Green Building.

The CSC Pharmacy is located on the first floor of the CSC building and fills approximately 1000 prescriptions each day.
