the following is my terms of service for when i am hired by a client. it contains workflow information, hours, conduct, ect. please review this document prior to submitting any order form or reaching out for a quote. if for any reason these terms are violated, your order will be nullified and your art will not be made.
these terms are for general use. special openings may have unique terms of service.
beneath the general ToS is a subject yes/no flyover.
do not order something you cannot afford. your physical needs must come first and i happen to care a lot about you. if you're secure, i would love to work with you -- but if you're in need, please be safe and save your money.
please do not confuse these things. i am kind, i am friendly -- i am not here to make friends, i am here to deliver you a ~product~.
do not confuse doing kink work with a desire to flirt or hear about your personal affairs.
im effectively taking a really long time to make you a cheeseburger and that's pretty high on my priority list. if you DM me i will assume it is work related. if it is an emergency, email me at crookedcryptid[at]gmail.com. my discord is checked only when i have work to show and my email is checked more frequently.
post your wips/comms/ect wherever; it's your work now! credit is cool but not necessary every time you share it.
you will receive several check-ins. it is on the client to point out errors early and often; minor fixes and tweaks are expected. major changes will require proportional upcharges beyond the setup stages. my work is not easy to edit.
if you need to cancel, i need informed; i am not a bank, however, and you should be certain prior to making major purchases. if you need a refund due to an emergency, i will cut the project and refund any amount i have not currently worked. i blacklist clients who request refunds for several months to years; if i can't pay my bills, your reasons don't matter overmuch.
if you want it faster or by a deadline, you must request a rush order and pay the rush order fee. rush orders are an additional 25% charge on your order.
rush orders are not guaranteed affairs; please plan ahead.
i don't expect any service worker to stop existing in person areas to fill my order, and i don't expect anyone to treat me like that, either.
the work i create for clients is intended to be personal and special, not regurgitated by a gaussian blur machine. i can't stop you from doing these things beyond asking nicely and reinforcing that a violation of someone's consent is a choice you make and cannot unmake.
i do not cede the rights to my work in professional settings. this does not include streaming assets. this does include pasting my work on stickers, shirts or whatever else and selling them for cash. if you wanna do something for print or commercial, the prices are different -- because the entire process for making shit for print is different.
my work looks like balls when it's printed because it's meant to be digital.and i would appreciate if clients appreciated what i do as-is prior to asking me to try something entirely new. i get asked to try new niche kinks and while i love to explore, typically i would prefer to work in my comfort zone and explore on my own time -- or through a labrat session.
if you need told what this is you might not be old enough to be here
i am not versed in adult pieces and i will not be starting any time soon; i am not repulsed, i am simply Not Interested, and i appreciate respect towards this decision.
please do not be the person who pushes this envelope. if you make me uncomfortable i will cancel your order. i said no, that means no.
... a lot of things out of a lack of comfort and ability. i understand you want something and i understand i can help you get it -- but i have time tables to meet and bills to pay and study isn't always a thing i can afford to do. i do not refuse subject matter out of shame for myself or my client and i do not believe shame has any place in these spaces. an artist refusing to draw your subject matter does not make your subject matter any less beautiful - it just means you haven't found your artist yet.
i will refuse to draw anything i do not feel confident in pulling off. you work hard for your money -- and i want to be certain what i can deliver is both what you asked for and artistically sound. this makes me picky -- hence reminding you it is always okay to be turned down. maybe someday, ok?
... all sorts of stuff. i love art of characters showing themselves or their abilities off. i love scenic pictures that tell a story. i love little panel sequences that add up to one big mess. i love neat clothes, nature and tech; i love to draw food, animals and people. i'm pretty shit at drawing buildings but i love doing it, same with forests and other denser background types. i love to lose myself in my work and i love to push limits and boundaries of anatomy.
really, i post the stuff i love to draw. i really like to draw sonic the hedgehog but getting paid to do that is some pipe-dream shit.
