but you can call me RL
im from ohio in the united states; i am in my 30s, and i have over 20 years of experience working in and out of various fandoms. starting as exclusively a Sonic artist, i branched out into anime in my 20s and from there my style has become a strange mash of both of these things. my proportions are strange, my expressions are great, and i don't know how joints work.
while hitting and then finding my stride in expansion work, when i met my wife in 2018, i began to study transformation, balloons and other kinks i had not managed to draw into my work quite yet. with her help, i challenged myself to get better, studying my shapes and colors as best as i could to make my art the hottest thing she had ever seen. i think i succeeded? i think that's pretty cool. it melts her. that's what matters.
the work i make is fierce, weird and unreliable. it is also bright, lively and full of love. i don't publish a single piece i hate and i won't -- i'd sooner refund a client than i would hand them work i am not proud of. i am obsessive over my details and nothing leaves my desk without at least one round of polish -- even a sketch feels strange without highlighting or shading.
i am hopelessly dedicated to my craft; i love to figure out people's character designs and make them shine, bringing out the traits that most pinups just can't grasp.
is this overly pompous and perhaps a bit pretentious? perhaps! however, i believe i am good at what i do, and i believe i would be good to work with you -- if you're at least a little patient with an autistic adult with very specific fixations.
my favorite way to draw is to put on a song i like -- and loop it for several hours while i bang out a composition and color. i don't recommend it. (but try it sometime!)
