I went to this water park a couple of weeks ago for a birthday celebration. Everyone from the start of the entryway to the lifeguards were really enjoyable to relate to. All of your staff was so friendly specifically with the kids. They were laughing and having so much fun communicating with them. It was so nice to witness and value the positive atmosphere. Additionally, the grounds were very clean.
Doggie Play and Paddle Occasion. So at the end of swimming pool season they open the pool to pets of all sizes, they have different time slots for dogs of different sizes (weight). We were in the medium size canine group. It was well organized, it cost $10 if you prepay online and $15 day of the occasion, I felt it was well worth it. It wasn't too crowded, you were able to quickly track your canine and enjoy yourself. Lots of lifeguards for the dogs safety and an animal control officer was on site, which put me at ease. There were a couple of cubicles with local vendors and a dj playing music at the swimming pool. They supply towels for the pets to use and lots of tennis balls to consider. There were a lot of seats for the humans and even some shade! There is even a small grassy location for the pets to romp around or do their organisation ... owners must get after their dogs! Enjoyed this event and will certainly go again. My one gripe was there were no drinks for humans or dogs. We luckily brought a bottle of water however it 'd be great if they sold some there.
We went early in the early morning to Black Mountain Entertainment Center in Henderson Nevada, and they closed down the swimming pool for about thirty minutes before 11. The water was pretty cold, and we were packing up when they all had actually whistled for us to leave the location. I had my child in my arms (5months), assisting my mom in law, (with 2 years of age) trying to get all of our things, while enjoying the 2yr old with the pool (they dart!) We were not hesitating. A girl came over with a long blonde braid, and began clapping at us! Stating that she really needed us to get out. I could understand if we were sitting, eating a sandwich, popping open a soda. She could've managed that much better. We had our hands complete.
Love that they have young child classes on the weekends. Very clean center. No personnel interaction yet so I can't actually discuss that, however the young child class trainer has actually been terrific. Comfy chairs to being in while we're waiting for class to end.
For a while it was the only facility in the community where they offered city park & rec classes and had a public pool. It was constantly hectic! Now even with the one in Green Valley open, this place is still hectic! Advantage there is plenty parking areas offered. Just small problem is one entry/exit way into this location, which can trigger a backup at times. I usually come here for the neighborhood yard sale they hold outdoors. There's a fitness room, and racquetball space, I haven't checked out yet, however looks fun!.
Recently I started using up some dance fitness classes, Hot Hula and Zumba that remained in the Henderson Happenings pamphlet. The dance space it lies in is a respectable size with mirrors on both sides of the wall. A stereo system with the speakers anchored high near the ceiling. So it's good and loud when the music is on. Not just is the A/C showed up in there full blast, there are also 4 ceiling fans to help you cool down when the dance workouts get extreme! Only unfavorable about this dance room is the flooring is not spick-and-span. So if you take classes in there with bare feet, be prepared to have black feet from all the dirt that accumulates on your feet. Besides that this location is cool, the workers at the front desk get along and practical and there's a good variety of classes to consider any ages.
