HEM News Agency currently does not operate a payment/compensation schedule for one-off contributions and promotions from interested parties. This largely applies to our media/blogging outreach partners. Contribution payments can be negotiated and can consist of payment in cash or kind. We are also willing to publish articles for free at our discretion. We are more than happy to negotiate!

COLLABORATIONS & COMMISSIONS

Most of the time we are dedicated to publishing news, as our name suggests, but just as you can find fashion, sports and lifestyle articles in any newspaper on the stand or news website, so we think that a news blog should not shy away from publishing other styles of writing.

HEMNA will accept all kinds of pre-written material and collaborations/"advertorials", whether for events, services, products, or anything your client or company would like to promote. However, acceptance is purely at the discretion of the HEMNA editor/blogger. We will under no circumstances accept commissions or articles promoting anything containing discriminatory, illegal, pornographic, malicious, or fraudulent matters. We do not promote any form of gambling or services of a sexual nature.

All sponsored and collaborative posts will be promoted at no extra cost on the official HEMNA social media channels, as well as those belonging to the editor/blogger. We can arrange for additional posts relating to a commissioned article to be publicised on social media for a fee which can be negotiated.

All commissioned articles and posts benefit from being featured for the next month on the featured articles grid at the top of the website. They are also pinned to the top of our Twitter feed for one day (if published on a Saturday/during holidays), or one week if published on a Sunday.
