In recent times, where people deliberate about Environmental Issues, it is crucial to maintain a balance in the ecosystem by protecting animals and also by giving them a little value as fellow living organisms.

This serious issue requires people to discuss ways for them to help animals and redeem themselves from the lack of humanity they possess towards animals. As animal shelters are doing the best human race could do for the victimized animals, they deserve all the support and applause. From the data provided we may conclude that:

1. Even after intaking 18,000 animals per year, the most animals in the center throughout the years were stray dogs as there are more in population and closely associated with humans such as pet dogs, stray dogs. About 37% of the dog population have been spayed or neutered so we can say that there is an advancement to control the dog population in USA.

2. Food products production is high in US as most of the livestock, almost 57% and birds population were intact females which have been used for eggs and food and then sent to shelters.

3. Previous owners of almost 24,000 animals (over 9 years), drop them in shelters as do not wish to spend their earnings on pets and are not respectful towards abandoning their pet due to various issues. People need to take it seriously that animals do have sense of attachment and treat them like family.

4. In some human beings, love and empathy towards animals still exist as 44.5% of these animals were adopted, named and got new families and 17.3% animals were taken back by their past owners who realised what their pet or animal is feeling.

Human race can coexist with animals by giving them empathy they deserve and speak up against Animal Abuse.
