The businesses and industries keep getting bigger and more number of animals keep getting abused.
About 97% of all abused and killed animals yearly are farm animals. Millions of animals are used for experiments and testing of products.
So the two industries with most animals being abused are Animal Agriculture and Animal Testing.

It is estimated that more than 50 million dogs, cats, monkeys, rabbits, rats, and other animals in the United States endure painful experiments each year. Animals are deliberately made sick with toxic chemicals, infected with disease, lived in sterile cages, and usually gotten rid of when the experiment is over.

Animals are critical in the ecosystems and are intelligent and sensitive.They can feel the pain, fear, frustration due to violence but are helpless as they don’t have the ability to speak to express themselves. Since they have emotions, they can also turn backs on people once they get fed up with such unacceptable behaviour. Even if they do not retaliate, they deserve to live without being exploited and tortured. This is why Animals deserve their rights!

Protecting animals can be done by showing them basic empathy first and then by raising voice to stop them from being abused. Contacting local representatives, signing petitions and reaching out to shelter homes to save sick or harmed animals are the next steps.
Shelter homes save animals after they have been abused and had a hard time. These shelters take great initiative from Humans side for these animals, which is the answer to how humans can redeem from this mistreatment of animals. This can help give animals live the life they deserve.
