As a Helper, you’ll encounter situations where players break the rules. It’s crucial to recognize these violations and know how to handle them properly. For instance, if you suspect a player is using an X-ray mod to find ores, you should monitor their mining patterns and gather evidence before taking any action. Once you’re certain of a rule violation, the first step is usually to issue a warning. If the behavior continues, you may need to escalate the situation to a Moderator or Administrator. It’s important to follow the server’s procedures for handling infractions to ensure that every player is treated fairly and consistently.

Real-Game Examples:

Monitoring Suspicious Activity: You notice a player mining in a straight line and finding diamonds frequently. You suspect X-ray use and start observing them more closely.
- Action: Monitor the player’s mining patterns and gather evidence before reporting.
Issuing Warnings: A player is spamming chat with advertisements. You issue a warning and explain why the behavior is unacceptable.
- Action: Use the /warn command and provide a clear reason for the warning.
Escalating Issues: A player continues to break the rules after multiple warnings. You escalate the issue to a Moderator.
- Action: Use the /report command to inform a Moderator of the situation.
Documenting Infractions: After warning a player, you document the incident in the staff chat for future reference.
- Action: Write a brief report in the staff chat, including the player’s name, the rule broken, and the action taken.
