Sirius Shelter

About the Organization

Sirius is Ukraine's largest animal shelter, housing 3,165 dogs and over 200 cats. 23 staff members remained at the shelter. Sirius is located north of Kyiv.

Since the beginning of the war, the shelter has been cut off from the suppliers. The staff has been sourcing grains and potatoes from the local villages, but the supplies ran thin. The shelter has gone for days without food, water, medication, heating, or electricity.
