Google has been keen to stress the multi-room capabilities of the new Google Nest Audio.
However, Chromecast with Google TV is very much part of this too.
You can set up multi-room Groups using the Google Home app on your phone, allowing you to select between them when you fancy having your audio run across multiple speakers or simply move the audio from one Google device to another as you move through your home.

As revealed in a post by 9to5Google unused marketing copy for the Google Nest Audio speaker has recently been spotted in Google Search results.
And a search result for the Nest Audio listing on the Google Store says Chromecast owners will be able to use Nest Audio speakers in a 'home theater sound system'.
The listing says: "With Chromecast & Google TV Nest Audio becomes your home theater sound system.
"Just pair two Nest Audio speakers together for stereo sound."
For web users in the UK, this search listing has been tweaked slightly to say "home cinema sound system".
There are a few points [inconsistencies ?] you should know about if you are trying to use your phone to adjust volumes levels.
