Teaching
I consider teaching an integral part of scholarship and I place great value in exchanges with students on all levels.
I have taught philosophy of science, general philosophy, and qualitative methods to both philosophy and non-philosophy students.
I am always working to improve my teaching; I have completed courses on university pedagogy focused on interactive teaching, dialogue driven teaching methods, and integrated teaching – drawing on online and in-person resources to engage students beyond the classroom.
From 2016-2020 I was a board member in the Danish Network for Women in Philosophy, and from 2016-2019 I was a mentor for female philosophy students at the University of Copenhagen. My teaching style takes lessons from this work on diversity related issues, and I take care to create an inclusive learning environment.
Please do not hesitate to contact me regarding specific syllabuses or teaching methods.
