Welcome to the Website of the Helena Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Greetings! I am honored to serve as the President of the Helena Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for the 2023-2025 biennium. Our chapter, chartered on June 2, 1967, by twelve visionary women, has remained steadfast in its mission to serve and uplift the community. These trailblazers laid a strong foundation of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action, setting a standard that we proudly uphold today.
Guided by Delta Sigma Theta’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust, we remain committed to impactful programming in the areas of:
✔ Economic Development
✔ Educational Development
✔ International Awareness and Involvement
✔ Physical and Mental Health
✔ Political Awareness and Involvement
Signature programs such as Securing the Bag, Deltas Move for Heart Awareness, and our Annual Scholarship Gala continue to create meaningful change. Through these efforts, we provide scholarships to college-bound high school seniors, promote financial literacy, and encourage health and wellness in our community.
As we continue our journey of service and impact, I invite you to partner with us through donations, program participation, and community engagement. With your support, Helena Alumnae can continue its mission of service and advocacy in Phillips County. We are grateful for the unwavering support of organizations and individuals who share our commitment to making a difference.
Please explore our website for opportunities to collaborate, support, and engage with us. Thank you for your continued dedication to our mission.
In Sisterhood and Service,
Sandra Valley Bagley
President, Helena Alumnae Chapter (2023-2025)
