Engineers play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vital infrastructure. From fortifying defenses to developing innovative but easy solutions for a common remnant to do against creature-related challenges, these skilled individuals apply their technical expertise to keep society functioning. In times of crisis, they work to ensure that essential utilities such as water and electricity remain operational, utilizing makeshift repairs and workarounds to keep the city running. Furthermore, engineers are responsible for overseeing the construction of safe zones and shelters, providing refuge for citizens during plant attacks and emergencies. Most engineers gain training from Genus laboratories and Smiths forgeries.
Tasked with scavenging within the confines of human settlements, Harvesters brave the dangers lurking a bit further than the outskirts of the districts and cities as well as around the abandoned areas that aren't considered dangerous enough to warrant a Scout to investigate. Their task is to extract valuable materials like metal scraps, electronic components, and other salvageable items from the ruins, and to meticulously gather resources to support the community's infrastructure and fortifications. Harvesters may gain training from the Artisan Guildhall. They may commission C-Rank or B-Rank Armory Officers for protection, but most usually avoid this to save on credits.
Charged with the responsibility of tending to the needs of the populace, caretakers provide essential services to ensure the well-being of both individuals and communities. They may take training from any of the Panacea hospitals, and would thus allow them to work in remote medical facilities, shelters, or community centers, offering medical assistance, psychological support, and practical aid to those in need in any of the Liberation cities. Compared to the medics located in the Panacea, Caretakers may travel city to city in the Liberation often but are not allowed to go outside the boundaries of the Liberation. Only registered Panacea personnel may be released for any medical emergencies outside due to the danger it poses for a mere civilian.
In a world where traditional textiles are scarce and plant-based materials pose unique challenges, tailors demonstrate their adaptability and resourcefulness by crafting durable and functional clothing for the populace. Using a combination of salvaged fabrics, non-plant-based fibers, and innovative designs, tailors produce garments that offer protection from the elements and enhance mobility in hazardous environments. Specialized tailors may focus on creating camouflage gear, protective suits, or lightweight armor tailored to specific needs and preferences. Tailors may gain training from the Smiths or the Atelier.
Cleaners are responsible for maintaining hygiene and orderliness within the confines of the Liberation's fortified walls, having tasks ranging from tidying up city streets to disinfecting communal areas. Their duties extend beyond mere sanitation, encompassing the removal of hazardous plant remnants and the decontamination of areas affected. From scrubbing away plant residue to ensuring the cleanliness of living quarters, cleaners play a vital role in upholding the safety and well-being of the community amidst the chaos of the plant apocalypse. Cleaners need to gain training from the Artisan Guildhall.
NOTICE: ESTABLISHMENT OF ILLEGAL NEXUSES
Attention all REMNANTS
It has come to the attention of the LIBERATION that there has been a disturbing trend of individuals engaging in the unauthorized establishment of Nexuses. We hereby remind all remnants that the creation, operation, or affiliation with any form of Nexus system is strictly prohibited by law.
Nexuses are illegal networks that facilitate criminal activities and undermine the security and integrity of our society. Any individual found to be associated with the establishment or operation of a Nexus will face severe repercussions under the full extent of the law.
We warn all remnants against engaging in any activities related to Nexuses, as such actions pose a serious threat to the safety and well-being of our community. LIBERATION OFFICERS will not hesitate to take decisive action against those involved in the illicit operation of Nexuses.
Let this serve as a stern warning to all individuals: the establishment of Nexuses is a grave offense punishable by law. Uphold the principles of law and order, and refrain from any involvement with illegal Nexus systems.
By order of the LIBERATION,
Lloyd Gunvald

DoomsDay Daily is a eccentric newspaper/news outlet in the LIBERATION, of which managed to survive all odds for some reason and is managed by one skittish person called Quinn. It's generally considered to not be very trustworthy as Quinn is noted to be a odd, hysterical fellow that usually avoids complicated situations unsuitable for a reporter, but somehow, their information has been accurate so far. Quinn's information source or methods of gaining the information is unknown.
DJ's Show is a segment on the liberation's radio station where DJ, a civilian who is being protected by the liberation, is the host. Her main job is to distract people from the hopelessness of their situation, talk about the current happenings within the districts of the liberations control, entertain and encourage. Recently though, she’s been using it to satiate her own curiosities as she has began speaking about her personal findings of the ‘why’s’ and ‘how’s’ of the apocalypse as it’s become a growing interest of hers to which she’s began investigating.
You’re wandering around the Artisan deep late into the night, wanting to go home before the curfew hits, when you hear a faint melody in the distance. The song reminds you of something you’d hear at a tivoli, but ever so slightly distorted. You stay on your guard. Is it a mirage? Is it a monster trying to lure you in? You’re starting to make out colourful lights flickering in the pollinated fog as the music gets louder and the ground starts to slightly rumble. Someone is softly singing along to the carousel tune.
You feel like you're being watched.
And while goosebumps appear on your skin, a shiver trailing over your back, a big shadow looms inside the fog. It grows bigger, and bigger, until the music starts to ring in your ears and the colors merge into a messy glob of colors beneath the fog. Your heart thumps. Your skin crawls. Something grows closer, something in the unknown makes its way towards you before--
"Fufufu~"
An enormous ice cream truck stops in front of you.
...What the fuck?
Rogues is the informal term to call the "remnants" that live outside the Liberation walls and on their own but are not considered as Vigilantes. They usually form their own groups and establish their own rules to survive the apocalypse. Even after years in the apocalypse, there is still a significant number of people that aren't under the Liberation's care, seeming to be capable surviving the harsh wilderness outside the fortified walls but not creating a ruckus in order to paint a target on their head as a Vigilante. However, remain wary while dealing with Rogues as even though they may become a Remnant or an officer under the Liberation in the future, they are also perfectly capable of stirring up trouble and becoming a Vigilante. Despite this fact, there are a couple known rogue groups of which the Liberation works time to time with. One of the most known groups is the [UNDISCLOSED], led by [UNDISCLOSED]*.
