Nearpod is a tool that allows you to search for and created lessons that can be used for a whole class situation or in a self-paced way. It is subscription based, but there are free lessons as well.

Educreations allows the user to create lessons using a whiteboard style application/presentation software. Great for designing Flipped lesson videos.

IPEVO Whiteboard is a free application for the iPad that can be used to create Whiteboard style videos for Flipped lessons. This is an excellent alternative to whiteboarding apps like Educreations that are more robust but a lot more expensive. Great for math and science.

Explain Everything is a whiteboarding application that allows teachers to create lessons that encourage collaboration and sharing.

Hippo Video is a subscription service that works with the Chrome Browser and allows the teacher to create explainer videos.

Powtoon is a video creation tools that allows the user to create cartoon style videos.

Tools for Lesson Delivery

In a flipped class situation, most lesson resources are delivered through learning management systems like: Edmodo, Schoology, Canva or Google Classroom. These other tools may aid in developing step by step coursework, or in some cases finding lesson inspiration.
