Primary Maths Tutorials
Below you will find some tutorials about different strategies used to teach mental maths and number sense. Although the strategies are first taught on paper, it is expected that children transfer these visuals to mental computation.
These strategies work great for 2, 3 and sometimes 4 digit numbers where mental calculation is encouraged. For larger numbers or complex numbers the formal written method is still the preferred option.
